Du'Meta Dance Film

Created for a dance event, this flyer was carefully crafted to showcase elegance in the work of Taiwo Adeleye, CMA where he shares his experience and analysis using Laban Movement Analysis, his suggestions, and used his technique to create a short film.

Meaning and Inspiration

Du'Meta in English means 3 black men, a Film about Taiwo Adeleye's experience viewing a portrait titled Fred Ashton and Dancers displayed at New York's Gunggenheim Museum.

I worked with the founder, Emmanuel Adegbite (@olucurious) to build a design system for minimalism that improves users' focus while building their own website on the go. This is evident in the logo which inherits its colors from the theme in the app.

A Quick Guide to Colors in Design

As a beginner, This post will show you all you need to know about the usage of colors in visual design for effective communication to your audience or customers.

Inspiration

Illustrations used in this post were inspired by the DreamWorks' popular movie, “Home”. The accurate use of color transitions to communicate feelings in the movie was the muse, so I decided to use cut-out versions of the characters to explain the topic with visual continuity in mind.

Its performance went up on Instagram through features by influencer accounts.

For the fact that many tried to pick up skills during the lockdown, in which graphic design was among the top 3 on everyone's list, this got me investing into creating a couple more carousel posts really targeted at boosting the confidence of these early designers.
